Ananda Tarot

NINE OF SWORDS

The Image

In a checkerboard floor of tiles that loses itself in the impressive colors of an evening landscape, stand nine swords that seem to disappear in the haze of a distant world.

Meaning

After man has let go of his limiting thought patterns, and formulated the images of his world of thoughts into concrete form, he sees himself confronted with every creation of his mind, that next take form on the level of his emotional world. According to the degree of maturity and intensity of imagination, they manifest increasingly in the material world, in the positive as well as negative sense.

This level of development definitely concerns the conquering of thought in the sense of the ability to recognize and fully realize creative abilities.

He who knows himself knows the world. He, who acts in the best interests of the world, will find that the world acts in his best interests, also. The results of thinking for himself that bring about worry and care, serve to put aside any remaining doubts and challenge him to fully participate in the further development of his soul with every ounce of his being. An important condition for this is a "good conscience", which lends a fine feeling for the development of intuition and perceptive abilities.
